Science Exploration The fifth grade students in Mrs. Pyle’s Science class are excellent explorers learning all about cells and plants!

In celebration of Grandparents’ Day, Eureka Kindergarteners invited  their grandparents to school on September 6th for a picnic lunch. An added bonus to the festivity was the students dressing in their favorite nursery rhyme character.

The week of September 23rd- 27th, Kindergarteners at Eureka Elementary School celebrated “Apple Week.”

Eureka Elementary had a PTO meeting September 24, which featured the talents of the second and fourth grades classes.

The kids had a wonderful time in Mrs. Pyle’s Science class examining some interesting animals in the invertebrate kits.

Throughout the month of October, students and staff at Eureka Elementary participated in a number of activities to promote bullying prevention.

The fourth and fifth graders at Eureka Elementary recently participated in the Pillowcase Project sponsored by the American Red Cross.

November was the month for all great spellers to “strut like a turkey”. All the classes in grades first through fifth conducted numerous spelling bees in their rooms.
