Kindness week highlights the power of everyday acts of kindness in creating schools and communities that are more compassionate, safe, healthy, and welcoming places to live, work, learn, and play. Click here to see the dress days for kindness week!

Enrollment paperwork to register for Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2026-27 School Year will be available at Eureka and the other elementary schools on February 2, 2026. Registration runs through March 27, 2026. Click here for the registration flyer in English and Spanish.

Eureka has partnered with Spiritwear Direct to offer lots of options for school spiritwear. You can click here or the link at the top of our webpage to go the Eureka Spiritwear website. Every week their is a different promotion available, so check back frequently!

Click here to see the dress up days counting down the last twelve days of school, December 4th - December 19th, before we get out for Winter Break! We hope this is something that will be fun for everyone to participate in.

The pancake dinner with Santa and the Grinch will now be held on Thursday, December 18, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Eureka. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale through Wednesday, December 17.

Eureka will be hosting Eureka's Got Talent on Wednesday, November 5th, at 6:30 PM in the Eureka gym. We invite everyone to come out to see the various talents that will be shared by our Eureka students and staff.

In observance of National Bullying Prevention Month, Eureka will be celebrating with various activities and dress days. We encourage everyone to join us in participating on the following dress days. We will send out an alert the night before to remind everyone of the dress day.

October 3rd — “Hats on to a Bully Free School” — Wear Your Favorite Hat
October 10th — “Put Name Calling to Rest” — Wear Pajama Pants
October 17th — “Bullying Gives us the Blues” — Wear Blue/ Jeans or Blue
October 22nd — National Unite Against Bullying Day — Wear Orange
October 24th— “Team up Against Bullying” — Wear Sports Team Shirt or Jersey
October 31st — “We Boo Against Bullying” — Wear a Costume

The School Board will be holding a Trick or Treat event at the School Board Office, 250 Legrande Ave, Charlotte CH, VA, on Friday, October 31, 2025, 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

The Color Run will be held Saturday, October 4. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. If you did not sign up, you can still participate by coming and registering before the Color Run starts. The run/walk will be held at 10 AM. Games and other activities will be available to play starting at 8:30 AM.

Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Eureka will be hosting its Fall Family Fun Night. The book fair will remain open until 7:00 so families can visit together. From 4:00 - 5:00 PM, there will be a Title I Math Event with math games for students and parents to play together or with others. Food will be sold starting at 4:30. Bingo cards will start being sold at 5:00 and Bingo will run 5:30 to 6:30. We hope you will join us for an evening of fun!
